At Imperial Beach Preschool, we offer that wonderful combination of a child development center with curriculum standards and practices that help promote the healthy development of your child intellectually, physically, and emotionally and the individual nurturing and care that comes with home care environments. We offer the best of both worlds.
Co-directors and owners of the center, Lisa and Ted Matranga, have enjoyed owning and operating the center for over twelve years. While Ms. Lisa overlooks the staffing and curriculum development, Mr. Ted tends to the Adminstrative side. They have two young adult sons. Their philosophy has always been to create a fun learning experience on a daily basis much like what they had wanted for their own children. Besides years of experience, Ms. Lisa received a post graduate degree and received her multi-subject teaching credential from USD as well as in Early Childhood Development while Mr. Ted received his BBA and then his teaching certificate in Early Childhood development through Southwestern College.
All staff members at Imperial Beach Preschool Center are well qualified in areas of Child Development and met State Standards and qualifications to teach in a Center Based facility. Additionally, this includes certification in CPR and First Aid and livescan finger printing.
